San Cassiano Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG

Amarone begins with meticulously hand-picked grapes, left to dry naturally for about one hundred days. Following gentle pressing and a slow, temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine matures for roughly thirty months in oak barrels, then rests for at least a year in the bottle, resulting in a wine of remarkable depth, complexity, and elegance

Production area: Valpolicella, a picturesque region in the Veneto area of northern Italy, located just north of Verona. It is renowned for its rolling hills, lush vineyards, and charming medieval villages. The area is particularly famous for its wine production, especially red wines like Valpolicella Classico, Amarone, and Recioto

Grape variety: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella

Alcohol content: 16%

Aging: 30 months in barrique and 24 months in the bottle, allowing the wine to develop remarkable depth and complexity
