Production area: The Langhe region, in Piedmont, north-western Italy, is renowned for its prestigious wines. Rolling hills, calcareous soils, and a continental climate create ideal conditions for producing elegant, complex wines with excellent aging potential

Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo

Alcohol content: 14,5%

Aging: Matured first in medium-sized oak casks (15 hl) and subsequently in tonneaux (450 litres), where it rests and develops its full character for at least four years

Tasting notes: A deep ruby-red colour with elegant garnet reflections. The nose is intense and refined, revealing aromas of ripe red berries, wild cherries and violets, complemented by subtle spicy and earthy nuances. On the palate, it is dry, warm and beautifully structured, with well-integrated tannins, vibrant acidity and remarkable depth. Elegant and persistent, it finishes with a long, harmonious and lingering expression

Serving temperature: Best enjoyed at 18–20°C, allowing its full complexity, depth and elegance to unfold.

Food pairing: Virasa Vejia is a wine that pairs beautifully with red meats, game and aged cheeses, enhancing their richness and intensity with its depth and character
