Description
Tasting notes: The most remarkable feature of Beso, revealed in tasting, is its extraordinary smoothness. Despite its 16% alcohol and well-structured body, it remains remarkably easy and pleasurable to drink. This distinctive character, along with its elegance, is the result of long bottle ageing.
Its complex bouquet is driven not by typical oak-derived aromas, but by ripe and jammy red fruits—especially cherry, sour cherry, and plum—complemented by ethereal nuances, spices, and a pleasant hint of bitter almond. On the palate it is round and seamless, with no harsh edges, long and persistent. Its naturally soft tannins perfectly balance the structure, creating a harmonious, elegant, and enveloping wine.
Serving temperature: Best served at a temperature of around 17–18°C, where its full aromatic depth and refined structure can unfold with elegance and precision
Food pairing: It pairs beautifully with robust roasted main courses, game and wild meats—both feathered and furred—prepared in any style, and is also recommended with very aged cheeses. It can likewise be enjoyed on its own, sipped in good company or in quiet contemplation outside of meals, and shows at its best when served in large crystal glasses
