Description
Tasting notes: This well-bodied wine is made from grapes grown on old vineyards, and is aged for several months – first in wood and then in the bottle – before its release. Deep ruby-red with slight orange nuances, it has an ethereal, vinous nose, and a dry taste in which the wood is nicely balanced with the body that is a distinguishing feature of Barbera.
Serving temperature: Best served at 18-20 °C to fully appreciate its aromas and character
Food pairing: It goes perfectly with all traditional Piedmontese dishes such as cured meats, second courses based on pork, veal cheek, grilled meat and aged cheeses.
