Marco Donati Pinot Grigio Ramato

Ramato wine is produced from Pinot Grigio, a grape with pinkish-grey skins, which is left to macerate on its skins for several hours (from 10 hours up to several days). This traditional technique from Friuli and Veneto gives the wine its distinctive coppery-orange hue, a more structured body, and fruity notes such as cherry and wild berries

Production area: Trentino a wine region in northern Italy, located between the Alps and Lake Garda. Its vineyards grow on mountain slopes and in valleys, benefiting from a mix of Alpine freshness and Mediterranean influence. Warm days and cool nights help preserve acidity and aromatic expression in the grapes

Grape variety: 100% Pinot Grigio

Alcohol content: 12,5%

Description

Tasting notes: Onion skin with warm copper reflections, unfolding a delicately fruity bouquet that recalls ripe pear and pomegranate, on the palate it is dry yet vibrant, savory and perfectly balanced in structure, full-bodied and rich, closing with elegant hints of mature yellow fruit

Serving temperature: Best served chilled at 10–12°C

Food pairing: Thanks to its refined structure and innate elegance, it pairs beautifully with appetizers, delicate soups, creamy risottos, egg-based preparations, white meats, and fish dishes
